- Located in the centre of a 10-mile section of the Belt, where 7.8 million oz (57% of the total gold from the Mother Lode) was produced from 16 historical mines.
- Historically the property has produced 2.3 million oz of gold, from 8 mines situated on what is now the Sutter Gold Project.
- Project was the first significant new gold discovery made along the Mother Lode Belt in last 50 years.
- Company acquired Project in 1990 from Meridian Gold, and has spent over US $20 million in exploration and development to date.
- Total of 26,735 m of drilling completed in 181 core drill holes.
- Modern underground development consists of a 950 m declined ramp with 800 m of cross-cuts plus four raises.
- General mill design is complete.
- Water Discharge Permit granted (October 05')
- Merged via RTO with Globemin Resources Inc.

- The Mother Lode Gold Belt is a 1 km wide, 195 km long band of gold deposits in central California
- The Belt has produced nearly 14 million ounces of gold since the mid- 1800’s to a depth of almost 2,000 m and gold mineralization persists to a greater depth.
- Mother Lode deposits consist of 2 main types:
- quartz veins which may extend up to 2,300 m along strike, 20 m in thickness and down to a depth of over 2,000 m; and
- deposits in mineralized country rock which can be tens of meters in thickness, resulting in large tonnage ore bodies.

- Mine/mill permit to operate at up to 1,000 tons per day obtained in 1998
- Waste water discharge permit obtained 2005
- Completed review of all previous geologic and engineering data in 2005
- Updated geologic grade/grade continuity models and exploration models in 2005
- Completed NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate in 2006

- Significant upside exploration potential as Resources defined to date represent only a small percentage of the total resource potential;
- 90% of total area still un-explored;
- Historic mines in the area were 3 to 4 times deeper and did not develop known parallel structures;
- Inferred Resources have an average width of 10 m and remain open for expansion;
- 70% – 85% free gold and competent host rock (40,000 psi)
- Past production within Project area was from large deposits with bulk-mineable characteristics and good continuity; and,
- The revised exploration model has identified multiple targets in unexplored areas, both near surface and at depth, throughout the Project area.
